Wrong worship
Jeremy Hart called my attention to this video. It’s a humorous look at self-centered worship – at least at first. By the end of the video, I was grimacing, because I fear that too often my own worship is remarkably similar. Thoughts?

I laughed for a little while, only to realize that this often happens to me as well. Sometimes when I know I am not in the mood to sing worship songs, I rather don’t sing, or I sit down. False worship has got to be one of the most heart-hardening things we do.
Agreed, Chelsea. It’s always a heart check for me to see if I was singing to the Lord in the last few verses or if I was just caught up in the music. I’ve often wondered if we need less “catchy” music because it is so easy to get swept into a love of music rather than worship of the Messiah.
