The apparent conspiracy of Barack Obama and pals

There’s no ignoring it any longer. What millions (and that’s no exaggeration ¹ ) have suspected is no longer a discredited “conspiracy theory” by the MSM. As DNI Tulsi Gabbard, Senator Chuck Grassley and others continue turning over stones, looking in closets (literally!), interviewing whistleblowers and exposing a decades-old attempt to seize power and undermine democracy.

I’m honestly shocked by the lack of street corner and barber shop talk about the cultural atrocities committed by this cabal. They make Watergate look innocent.

Matt Taibbi recently posted “Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, the FBI, the CIA, and the news media are exposed as a conspiracy of dunces in another document release.”

“The January 2016 memorandum noted, in part, that President Barack Obama intended to scuttle the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server and mishandling of highly classified information during her time as Secretary of State.” ²

Senator Grassley’s post makes public the formerly Classified Appendix (“Durham annex”) to John Durham’s 2023 Special Counsel report. Some may consider it “explosive” revelations, but most of us just nod our heads and say, “It’s about time.” The conspiracy and coup attempts of the Left have been drug out into the light with receipts, evidence, testimony and a growing mountain of public anger over the damage to democracy.

When a poll was taken in early 2024, 58% of respondents felt the Left was using lawfare to attack and attempt to discredit Donald Trump.

It wasn’t just Trump. Biden’s FBI targeted members of Trump’s former administration as well. ³

The sobering reality of the gravity of corruption that is being released to the American public is tsunami-like. The seismic event was during the Obama administration. We have been experiencing some of the first waves, but we will be inundated with more evidence. Consider that the sitting Director of National Intelligence has this pinned to her Twitter/X account: ⁴

It’s no joke. It’s no conspiracy theory. What is being trickled out, shock by shock, is a nothing short of a conspiracy.

Believe it or not.

The old cartoon strip by Robert Ripley was named Believe It or Not in October 1918. It was later parlayed (or should we say palanced?) into multiple versions of a TV show. The 1982-1986 run was hosted by actor Jack Palance. The TV theme intro challenged viewers to consider the evidence and, “Believe it or not!”

Consider that you may have believed what “the government” told you about Trump. Consider that there has been a coordinated effort by the Left, with malicious intent, to retain power.

For the Christian thinker, conspiracy is no surprise. Uur sinful nature, combined with the idolatry of the mind and the elevation of logic go a long way to sustaining resistance to divine revelation. In addition, there is the god of this world, Satan, with his deceitful philosophies. He has the scripturally revealed intention to blind the minds of unbelievers and keep people in darkness. It is no secret. It is a spiritual conspiracy to undermine the authority of God and to destroy those who follow Him. One of Satan’s primary tools is deceit. Revelation 12:9 calls him “the one who deceives the whole world.”

What’s next? Is this all political rhetoric and theatrics? Is it retribution? In July, in a statement from the Oval Office while meeting with Filipino President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., President Trump, speaking about Obama, said, “He’s guilty. This was treason… They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election… It was every word you can think of.”

We know Trump is prone to exaggeration. But this time, there are investigations underway and a mountain of evidence in the previously classified annex to Durham’s report that may be incontrovertible.
