The Roundup: week ending September 3, 2022
President Biden gave an angry speech. More disturbing news emerges about state-sponsored censorship. A draught in Spain reveals history. And a treadmill mishap makes me laugh.
The RoundUp collects the most recent news, listens and observations that caught my attention. Here’s a few things that happened. I’ll comment on some of them below.
- Revelations of censorship directed by the Biden administration
- President Biden’s “angry” Philadelphia speech
- Ruins of a massive Roman military camp revealed after drought in Spain
State-sponsored censorship
It only continues to get more disturbing. You might remember that I wrote about Alex Berenson winning his lawsuit against Twitter. He has been a dissenting voice about COVID, COVID policies and has exposed uncomfortable findings about everything from the CDC, NIH to the vaccines since April 2020.
This past week, accumulating evidence shows that Twitter, Facebook and other private social media companies took orders from the current administration regarding censoring, deplatforming and blocking dissenting views:
- Lawsuit Reveals Dozens in Biden Admin Worked with Big Tech to Suppress Free Speech in Online Coronavirus Discourse1
“The Biden administration and big tech allegedly colluded to suppress free speech during the pandemic with at least 88 separate communications, Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt revealed Thursday.”
- Over 50 Biden Administration Employees, 12 US Agencies Involved in Social Media Censorship Push: Documents2
“When the federal government colludes with Big Tech to censor speech, the American people become subjects rather than citizens,” Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, a Republican, said in a statement. “The [U.S. Department of Justice] must not be allowed to hide behind the veil of executive privilege, especially when there is already compelling evidence that the people’s government colluded with these social media companies to suppress their right of free speech.”
Back in July, Justin Hart revealed from a FOIA request:
“Facebook gave the CDC $15 million in ad credit to do as they seem fit.”3
This state-directed censorship is beyond belief, and news keeps coming out.

Roman ruins revealed in Spain

Dropping water levels revealed a massive complex of Roman ruins in Spain as Europe continues to struggle under a record-breaking drought… The remaining ruins became submerged after the construction of a dam in 1949 created the As Conchas reservoir…4)
President Biden’s angry speech in Philadelphia
On Wednesday, President Biden delivered a speech at Liberty Hall in Philadelphia (oh, the irony) entitled The Continued Battle for the Soul of the Nation. Even the optics were a bit… hellish:

Flanked by Marines, President Biden decried the danger against democracy from MAGA Republicans.
It wasn’t the first time he’s been angry. Here’s an interesting post that identifies his 2021 inauguration speech as “the angriest of all time” with super interesting reasons why.5

Biden’s speech was “…solely focused on MAGA Republicans, with no comments being made on the economy, rising inflation, the fentanyl crisis, or abortion.”6
That was the most demagogic, outrageous, and divisive speech I have ever seen from an American president. Joe Biden essentially declared all those who oppose him and his agenda enemies of the republic. Truly shameful. pic.twitter.com/ZcJX2BbZlt

WOWWWWWW that picture looks straight from the pit of hell itself. There is so much blatant darkness now, and we all will have to give an account to God as to whom and what we believed and followed. God has truly left this nation to its evil wickedness. God have mercy on us all.
