New episode: Ordinary Celebrity featuring George Schroder

I’m excited to share the latest episode of Ordinary Celebrity that features long-time friend, Arkansas Democrat-Gazette paperboy coworker and former sports journalist, George Schroeder.

Schroeder was a sports journalist for over 30 years, working for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, at newspapers in Oklahoma and Oregon. He became a columnist and also wrote for Sports Illustrated and USA Today. After being caught up in a round of layoffs at USA Today, he charted a career change which led him to work for the Southern Baptist Executive Committee, then to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and most recently to a church in Colorado.

Along the way, he has launched a brand new podcast, Gridiron & The Gospel – A Faith & College Football Podcast. Its first episode dropped yesterday (August 7)!
