New Blog Design
I worked much of Saturday implementing a new blog design. I’d be very interested in knowing what you think about it. While I love the look of it, I am more interested if it’s readable, easy to navigage, and how fast it loads in your browser.

It’s one of WooTheme’s free WordPress themes, and it took considerable tweaking to get it to where I was happy.
Really hard to read. Please don’t use a dark background.
I love the new theme. It loaded just as fast as any page on the old 800 MHz G3 iBook. The background was the last to load but I think the site looks great even without that loaded. Great work. I bet you’d make a great graphic artist… 😉

I LOVE the look of it, like everyone else is saying… The only thing I don’t like is how the actual blog part of your blog doesn’t have as much visual emphasis as it used to. But I’m lazy, so I don’t like clicking links to read an entire blog entry. 😉

I like it Jeff. I think it is pretty readable. The white text stands in good contrast to the black background, and I love the header image.

Thanks for all the input. Lindy said what bothers me about it… I too, don’t like a lot of clicking. I may look into showing entire blog posts on the main page.
On the other hand, there are features on the article pages that you don’t get on the main page – which is intentionally stripped clean of busyness.
