Innovative churches… or not?
You might recall my entry about the innovative church list that looked more like a popularity contest. Seems they caught more flack over it than they anticipated, and now there’s a rankable innovative church list that you can vote on yourself (and even add your entries) here. You’ll need to register (for free) at Squidoo to vote, but it’s worth your while to do so. You can also see them below…

Hey Jeff – Thanks for submitting your church to the list. Two things I should point out: 1) Outreach (the magazine that originally created the list) has nothing to do with the online “vote & rank” list we (Church Marketing Sucks) created using Squidoo. We just thought it’d be fun to let people have their say, so we posted the list. It’s completely separate from Outreach magazine. 2) I really liked your church’s web site. Just testing. Last time I commented it gave an ugly error. I guess it posted anyway though.
Kevin! Great comments and thoughts! Thanks so much for taking the time to give positive feedback! Our church site has recently undergone a significant redesign as we quit using FaithConnector (a great service) and opted for free WordPress format. Even after that, our initial design “broke” when I upgraded to WordPress 2.1, so the site you saw is still being “renovated.” THANKS for the input and tips! I will get some of that up today.
I really appreciate it.
Oops. I see that hand!
I also see the error message you talked about. When you submit a comment, it’s messing up. It also has to do with the recent WP 2.1 upgrade here at Notes. Hopefully, I’ll have the problem solved today.

Alright. Think it’s fixed. Ya’ll let me know if you get error messages. I needed to upgrade the “Subscribe to Comments” plug-in that was used to the newest one.
