After 20 years with Passion conferences, here’s two things I’ve learned

I spent the first week days of 2017 at the 20th anniversary of Passion. 55,000 students gathered to worship and seek God together at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta. It was surreal to worship with another generation of students, as a pastor, in a different state and reflect on how God has impacted my life through this movement and ministry with collegians. Here are a few thoughts.

Slow down, Christmas

Weeks before Thanksgiving, our culture jumps in the Christmas car and jams the accelerator down. Christmas decorations go on sale about Halloween, and we roar past Thanksgiving, barreling down upon December 25. Then we sit exhausted among leftovers and torn wrapping, wondering what happened, barely remembering the journey. Read along in my annual experiment to "slow down Christmas."
